for MarkDad

Last updated: September 2026

On-device storage · No account · No tracking

MarkDad is designed with privacy in mind.

01

Data Storage

Temperature readings, timestamps, and notes entered into MarkDad are stored locally on the user’s device.

MarkDad does not require an account.

02

Data Collection

MarkDad does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer.

The app does not use advertising or tracking technologies.

The app does not use third-party analytics services.

03

Network and Cloud Services

MarkDad does not require a cloud service to store temperature records.

Temperature records and notes are not uploaded to MarkDad-operated servers.

04

Widgets

MarkDad's Home Screen widgets display information derived from records stored by the app on the user's device.

Widget data remains on the user’s device.

05

PDF Export

MarkDad allows users to export temperature records as PDF files.

Exported files are created at the user’s request.

The user controls where exported files are saved or shared using iOS system features.

06

Data Retention and Deletion

Records remain on the user’s device until the user edits or deletes them, removes the app and its locally stored data, or otherwise removes the data through iOS.

Because MarkDad does not operate an account or cloud database containing these records, the developer does not have access to or control over the user’s locally stored temperature records.

07

Children

MarkDad may be used by parents or caregivers to record temperature readings for family members.

The app is not designed to collect personal information directly from children and does not create user profiles or accounts.

08

Medical Information

MarkDad is a record-keeping utility only.

It does not measure body temperature, diagnose medical conditions, determine whether a fever is present, or provide medical or treatment advice.

Users should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional when they have concerns about their health or the health of another person.

09

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If MarkDad's data practices change in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
